Praying Scripture over anyone especially your child is a powerful way to use the Word of God as a weapon to protect your child and help them to live God’s way.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
Prayer is our way of communicating to the Almighty God. Prayer is our way of giving Him our fears and concerns including that of our children.
In fact, praying over your children is the most powerful thing you can do for them. Who better than God to protect them and comfort them? Who better than the Holy Spirit to guide them and give them direction? No one.
You may already be praying for your child. If not daily, then maybe even 2-3x a day.
As Christians, we depend on the Lord for our every waking moment.
In these tumultuous times that we are living in, we need all the help we can get especially the help of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word.
A friend once told me that she was so glad that if she was not around her kids, she can count on THE ONE who is always with them and will never leave them. Amen!
